City reimbursed for Sgt Moore’s car
Huckleberries has confirmed with city spokesman Keith Erickson that local government insurance company ICRMP has reimbursed Coeur d'Alene for the patrol car driven by Sgt. Greg Moore on the morning of his slaying May 5. Originally, it was thought that the city would have to absorb the loss because the car hadn't been damaged or rendered useless by an accident. However, the city recently learned that it would receive $40,526 from ICRMP -- the value of the car and equipment, minus deprecition. A new car will cost $56,144. The police department will makeup the difference from its budget.
