English leads in fund-raising
In the race for the Coeur d'Alene City Council seat No. 5, former county clerk Dan English has raised more than the two other candidates combined. English has raised $9,392 total this year for his council campaign, including $2,350 in the last reporting period, according to 7-day pre-election campaign statements. Incumbent Steve Adams has raised $6,825. And challenger Bruce MacNeil has raised $378. The finance reports reveal:
- Steve Adams: Adams raised $924 in the recent filing period, including $100 apiece by Reagan Republicans Victory Fund, John & Angela Cross, and state Rep. Kathy Sims. You can read Adams' finance report here.
