DFO: Here we go again?

DFO (RE: Edinger outraises Schindelbeck): I'm intrigued why some of the same people who were involved in the takeover of the Coeur d'Alene School Board -- Reagan Republicans and Brent Regan -- are invested in this City Council race. I suspect that partisan supporters are trying to expand the beach head for their ideology from just Adams to Adams and Schindelbeck. On some issues, like urban renewal, the backers of Adams and Schindelbeck could also count of Councilman Dan Gookin for a vote. Then, it's only a short jump shot for a majority. It took Coeur d'Alene a few years to correct the mess that occurred when conservative hardliners took over the School Board. This election will tell whether or not we are going down that same road again."

Question: Am I the only one who sees the Coeur d'Alene City Council election as a repeat of the process that led to the Coeur d'Alene School Board takeover of a few years ago?
