Hump Day Wild Card — 9.9.15

Thirty-one years ago today, I stepped into the Coeur d'Alene newsroom of The Spokesman-Review for the first time as an SReporter. Doug Clark was the regional editor. There were 4 other Daves on board (Wasson, Bond, Boling & Ballard). I elected to go with my initials for my byline, so readers could distinguish my stories from those produced by the other Daves. Clark called us his Clark Dave 5, paying homage to the 1960s English band. For my first story, I covered a Coeur d'Alene School Board meeting that involved troublesome talks with teachers. (Some things never change.) It has been a long, fun ride. And, frankly, I don't know when it will end. I still enjoy punching the time clock. Now, for today ... here's your Wild Card ...
