Saturday will mark the seventh birthday for the Coeur d'Alene Public Library's moose and mouse, Mudgy and Millie. Though it's unknown how old Mudgy and Millie actually are, they were born out of a love of books, active living, public art, and the community of Coeur d'Alene.

Press: Vaccinate Your Kids 

In an editorial Sunday, the Coeur d'Alene Press encouraged parents to eschew those who lobby against vaccinating children, as a result of misinformation raining down on us via the "Internet jungle." The edit laments that Idaho leads the nation in the number of kindergarteners who aren't vaccinated, percentagewise.
