McGruber: Clay has work cut out

McGruber: It's THE topic around town (Post Falls) and even at city hall about the "why." Why (former mayor Clay Larkin) is determined to unseat a popular one-term council member (Joe Malloy) after he spent 20 years already in elected office. I think a lot of his past supporters are not all that supportive of this quest of his to be recycled to a city council seat after an extended retirement community wide farewell. Clay has never faced a real campaign and he's got his work cut out for him in this effort. 4 years ago Malloy unseated entrenched city council president Scott Grant with over 70% of the vote. Clay may have underestimated his opponent and overestimated his own support. IMO.

Question: Will Clay Larkin unseat Joe Malloy?
