Huckleberries Online

For those keeping score at home …

... Trustee Glorie Ward resigned her position on the Post Falls School Board earlier this month because she is/has relocated outside here district -- to Coeur d'Alene. Huckleberries confirmed the resignation with the Post Falls district office this morning. Ward was elected in 2013. Her term of office won't expire until 2017. She is also the wife of Jeff Ward, a leader in the Kootenai County Reagan Republicans. Ward and her husband were caught in a controversy two years ago involving a letter circulated under state Sen. Bob Nonini's name. The letter supported Ward and another Reagan Republican candidate while indirectly criticizing their opponents. The School District has 30 days to announce the vacancy and begin accepting applications for a replacement. (Photo: Glorie Ward Facebook wall)
