And now a word from Mitch

Sheriff Mitch Alexander of Shoshone County Facebooks:

"To say our state has a crisis with mental illness would be an understatement. The centers are so overloaded, that recently we've had to Transport patients back and forth to Boise. A long trip used to be Lewiston, now we're taking them all the way to our capital. I just want to thank our jail division & Pete and Cat Wood for their recent trips back and forth, it's appreciated, thank you."

Question: And yet state Rep. Kathy Sims, R-Coeur d'Alene, and other North Idaho legislators fought tooth and nail against funding for a mental health center in the Coeur d'Alene area. Thoughts?
