I received my annual flu shot this morning. (I had to do something while waiting for the lights and computers to come back on at the SR's Coeur d'Alene office. Originally, I asked for one in September during my annual physical. But Doc Chisholm cautioned me to wait a bit. Last year, I didn't get my flu shot until this spring.

Local gas prices tumble to $2.22 17 

Am I the only local motorist smiling this yuletide? Brian Walker/Coeur d'Alene Press reports that Coeur d'Alene gas prices have tumbled 17 cents to $2.22 in the last month. That should leave a little extra over from the fuel bill for stocking stuffers. Do you remember a few years ago when gas prices topped $4/gallon?
