NIC Career Tech Ed campaign to start

The community is invited to a fundraising announcement, facility update and reception for the North Idaho College Career and Technical Education Facility at 1 p.m. Monday in the Edminster Student Union Building on NIC’s main campus in Coeur d’Alene. Parking permits are not required Monday. Construction on the 110,960-square-foot CTE facility at 7064 W. Lancaster Road in Rathdrum (next to Kootenai Technical Education Campus) is currently underway and projected to finish in time for the first classes to be held in the fall. The CTE facility is being built with $15 million from college capital funds coupled with donations secured through the “Building the Future” capital campaign. The goal of the campaign is $5 million/Tom Greene, NIC News Room. More here.
