Wild Card/Monday — 4.11.16

A buddy just told me that he swung by the DMV this morning to get a new license because his is expired. He discovered the problem while trying to get a hunting license last week. He figured that the DMV might be busy this morning. He was right. The place was packed, not a parking spot to be found in the administration building parking lot. Which brings up two questions: Why doesn't a county office that impacts the public so much have bigger quarters and more staffing? And why doesn't the county or state notify you when your license is about to expire? After all, who looks at the date of a license that you've had for 8 years? Here's your Monday Wild Card ...
