Pocatello seeks fix to worst USA flag

If you didn’t know that Pocatello’s city flag was derided as the worst in North America in a 2015 TED talk by radio show host and designer Roman Mars, never fear: The city’s flag design committee met Wednesday, with Mars joining it, to start the process of designing a new, better city flag for Pocatello. The Idaho State Journal reports that the current flag, designed as a logo in 1999, was never fully authorized as a flag but just ended up as one. However, this particular flag – which used to fly only outside the city’s wastewater treatment facility – no longer flies anywhere in Pocatello, though the logo "Proud to be Pocatello" can be found around the city/Betsy Russell, Eye on Boise. More here.

Question: Have you spent much time in Pocatello?
