Three people injured after falling from a downtown Coeur d’Alene rooftop Saturday night had been sitting on the edge of the building with their feet hanging over the sidewalk below. “The decorative cap of the building they were sitting on gave way and all three of the young adults fell to the sidewalk,” a distance of about 30 feet.

Tears and laughter filled Lake City Community Church on Saturday as family members and close friends recalled their fondest memories of Anna Marie Pearce. The AP has a report today on the state investigation into contributions to the “Integrity in Government PAC,” which has been ongoing since January. The PAC has been active recently running newspaper ads targeting Gov. Butch Otter and the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry, featuring crudely drawn cartoons.
Again, the annual Jobs Rated report of CareerCast.com low-balls my profession. For the third year in a row, the report lists “newspaper reporter” as the worst of 200 jobs.
