Police seek double slaying suspect

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a double-homicide suspect Gilbert Delgado, 44, after a victim’s 7-year-old son called 911. Investigators with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office say two adults – a brother and sister – were shot dead Monday morning in a Spokane Valley home near the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Michigan Road.

Bike thieves working downtown CdA 

On its Facebook wall, BikeCDA.com reports: "We have a very active bike thief that is working the downtown area of Coeur d'Alene. The M.O. is that secured, locked, high-dollar bikes are being cut off of bike racks mounted to vehicles. This could not come at a worse time. Ironman CDA triathletes will be coming to town this week.

I spent 3 of my 4 Sundays in July building fence and packing 3 yards of rock to my back yard. I didn't realize August was her until Junior & Miss Stephanie arrived from Florida a week ago.

PFPD Log: Drunk mom hurts child 

You have to feel sorry for the children of a drunken woman who was arrested by Post Falls police last night. The Swing Shift reports that the uncooperative, profance woman slammed her child's arm in a car door before attempting to drive a vehicle. The officers stopped her before she could drive off.

In a Ridenbaugh Press column, Randy Stapilus comments that Idaho is one of the sure-fire Trump states in a political map offered by web site 538 and its remarkable statistician Nate Silver. The web site touts Donald Trump's chances of winning Idaho at 96.3%. However, it also says that Hillary Clinton has an 86.3% chance of becoming president.

Sleeping woman nabbed at scene

A Coeur d’Alene woman was arrested on drug charges Saturday morning after a sheriff’s deputy found her asleep in a Jeep at the scene of gasoline theft from a public vehicle. Alyssa A. Wolff, 22, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and for an outstanding drug warrant.
