County wants to de-annex KCSO, jail 

For 31 years, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office & jail have been on city property. Which means Coeur d'Alene police are called to respond to incidents -- fights & drug smuggling -- on the grounds. Now, according to the CdA Press, the county is moving to de-annex the KCSO complex. And Sheriff Ben Wolfinger isn't happy.
