TGIF Wild Card — 12.23.16

It nice to get my old Toyota 4Runner back with 2 new doors on the driver's side and a spic-'n-span buff job, courtesy of Gerber Collision. The deer that hit the 4Runner on Thanksgiving Eve also caused a $500 deductible dint in my wallet. But my insurance company and the upbeat lads at Enterprise rental made the transition as easy as possible. No hassle. At all. Now, I'll leave the 4Runner mostly parked until next Friday, Dec. 30. Yeah, I'm headed for my final vacay of the year. (Queue up groans and taunts.) Cindy will fill the tail-gunner's seat next week, from Tuesday through Friday. When I return, I'll begin my new duties as a 5X-per-week columnist for the SR. That'll be a challenge. But I'm looking forward to it. It'll cause some adjustment of my blogging schedule. But we'll talk about that later today. Here's your Wild Card ...
