Hayden man dies in Montana crash

A 48-year-old man from Hayden, Idaho was killed in a rollover crash in southwestern Montana. The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was a passenger in a car that went off Dry Creek Road north of Belgrade at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. The patrol says the driver overcorrected, the vehicle returned to the roadway and then rolled twice, ejecting the passenger. The car struck a small tree and a water truck parked by the road. The female driver had to be extricated from the vehicle. The patrol did not release any information on her identity or condition. The man's name was not immediately released. Officers are investigating the cause of the crash/Associated Press.
