Sightem (Pokemon Go)

Walking partner Greg Lee and I counted 39 millennials (and Tom Greene of North Idaho College) doing Pokémon Go walkabouts in McEuen Park, City Beach and elsewhere on the waterfront during our noon walk. They were easy to spot. Almost all had their head down, looking at their cellphones. Their ages ranged from early teen to mid-20s. Most were walking with a friend(s). Tom was the first person we counted, on the east side of the Coeur d'Alene Resort conference area. He was taking his lunch break to figure out the Pokémon Go phenomenon. Afterward, we began counting the Pokémon Go participants. They. Are. All. Around. Us.
