Wild Card/Tuesday — 7.12.16

I dreamed last night that my old high school English teacher was bedeviling me again. The guy was arrogant. And he enjoyed belittling freshmen and sophomores. I was a favorite target. He didn't like the books I read for assignments. He didn't like my essays. I don't think he liked me. Last night, in my dream, he made a commotion in front of the class about a poem I wrote. In my sleep, I had the same reaction that I had 50 years ago. I shrunk away. Well, the joke's on Parley (yes, that was his first name). I've earned a living for 46 years as a writer and reporter. How about you? Did you ever have a teacher that gave you a hard time? You can answer that question or start your own thread with this Wild Card ...
