Poll: Trump scored a hit

  • Weekend Poll: Overall, more of Hucks Nation said Donald Trump registered at least a single, in baseball terms, for his national convention, than made an out. 125 of 254 respondents (49.2%) said Trump should be credited with a base hit to a home run at the Republican National Convention. 112 of 254 respondents (44.1%) said Trump either struck out or made an out in some other way. However, a plurality of Hucks Nation (82 of 254, 32.28%) said Trump struck out. OTOH, 63 of 254 respondents (24.8%) credited Trump with a home run. Also: 30 (11.81%) said he hit a ground out or fly out. 24 (9.45%) said he made a single; 20 (7.87%) a double; and 18 (7.09%) a triple. 17 of 254 (6.69%) credited Trump with a "hit by pitch."
