County delegate joins walkout protest 18 

A.J. Konda, of Coeur d'Alene, the only Kootenai County delegate to the Democratic convention in Philadelphia, joined a walkout of Bernie Sanders delegates after Sanders called for a unanimous decision to give the nomination to Clinton. He tells the Coeur d'Alene Press about the experience.

County solves courthose parking woes

Commissioners have resolved a long-time parking problem at the Kootenai County Courthouse by reserving space on city-owned property for 146 spaces for cars and 7 spots for RVs. The new parking lot would be built across Northwest Boulevard, just to the north of the lot just built as part of the Four Corners project.
