Wild Card/Thursday — 7.28.16

I listened to part of U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine's speech last night and all of President Barack Obama's. Obama was dealing. He's an amazing orator. But I can't help but thing that the Hillary Clinton campaign is spending too much time off message in dealing with the shenanigans of Donald Trump. Yesterday, Trump was grabbing the tweets and headlines with his comment that Russia should find her missing Secretary of State emails. Democrats dismiss these Trumpisms as more huffing and puffing from a megalomaniac. He may be that. But I also wonder if he's wily as a fox in his ability to derail opponents with a tweet or offhand comment. The mainstream Republican machine couldn't stop him. Will Hillary be Trump's next political roadkill? Inquiring minds want to know. Here's your Thursday Wild Card ...
