"Coeur d'Alene Silver Cup, Inc., is requesting approval of an Annual Special Events Location Permit to host the 2016 Coeur d'Alene Silver Cup Unlimited Hydroplane Race and Grand Prix West race. As proposed the event is scheduled to take place on July 15, 16 and 17, 2016, and will be located east of the city of Coeur d'Alene, along a 1.5 mile section of shoreline of Coeur d'Alene Lake near Silver Beach. The location and spectator viewing areas will be located along E Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive and the Centennial Trail and the hydroplane boat races will be held on Coeur d'Alene Lake. Spectators will be transported/shuttled by bus from an offsite parking area totaling approximately 32 acres located on the north side of Seltice Way and west of Huetter Road near Huetter.
