Adult, 2 children die in Fernan Lake 

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team has recovered the bodies of one adult and two small children from the vehicle that was located submerged in Fernan Lake earlier this morning. Kootenai County Sheriff Office Detectives are continuing their investigation and notifications are still being made to family members.

More than 750 people waited in line at the Kootenai County Election Department to cast votes Wednesday. Scott Maben/SR reports that a 10th of the county's registered voters have already voted, with early voting to continue through Friday.

CPD embraces No Shave November 

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department will be participating in No-Shave November. The goal is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. The officers will either pay $10 or $40 for the month to grow beards and/or mustaches. The proceeds will go to cancer prevention.
