Hump Day Wild Card -- 10.12.16 87

I really don't want you to answer this question, but I wonder what Donald Trump would have to do to finally lose the support of such ideological diehards as Congressman Raul Labrador and the Idaho Republican Party? You can vote for Pedro, but ... 10

You can write-in Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck or Pedro for U.S. president, in protest of the two main candidates running, and your ballot will still count. Huckleberries just got off the phone with County Clerk Jim Brannon re: writing in a fictitious name for president. I'm flirting with the idea of writing in "Pedro" of "Napoleon Dynamite" fame.

Thoreson: A dad worth remembering

In her Main Street column for the Coeur d'Alene Press, Kerri Thoreson remembers her father, the late property tax activist Ron Rankin, who died on this day 12 years ago. Blast from Past: Elect Bob Dole

While looking through past presidential endorsements of the Spokesman-Review, my former Editorial Board mate Gary Crooks found the 1996 endorsement of Republican Bob Dole. Which I wrote for the paper. You can find it below. I would still support a quality GOP presidential candidate like Dole. Too bad the R's didn't put one forward this year.
