Weekend Poll: A plurality of Hucks Nation wants the public to keep using Hayden Elementary, as a community center or a magnet school. 52 of 180 respondents (28.89%) want to see the historic building @ Govt Way/Hayden Ave used as a community center. Another 33 (18.33%) want the school district to use it as a magnet school. OTOH, 61 (33.89%) say the district should sell the building. 15 (8.33%) say "tear it down." 10 (5.56%) lease it. 3 (1.67%) marked other. And 6 (3.33%) were undecided.
