Wild Card/Thursday — 9.22.16

Do you hear that sound out there? Silence. We're 47 days from the general election in November, and there is little to no noise being made down ticket. Huckleberries gets an occasional call re: the local and legislative races. But it's not like the primary elections in May when Hucks Central was bombarded with calls and mailings. Yeah, yeah, I know that the GOP primary generally provides the winner in November. But there should be a couple of races in play this fall. Amador v Hearn. Mebbe Souza v Milan. Scott v McAlister in Bonner County. Any forum featuring "Democrat" Tina Kunishige v incumbent Sheriff Ben Wolfinger should be fun. Hillary v Donald, of course, overshadows everything. But there are still undercard contests of interest. Just sayin. Here's your Wild Card ...
