Last night, I was treated to the pitch by phone scammers trying to pass themselves off as IRS agents -- you know, the clowns who say you're in hot water for doing something wrong on your tax returns. Except the scammers over did it a bit. They left a half dozen messages warning of dire things if I didn't call a certain number immediately. I wonder how someone who doesn't know the ways of these bottom-feeding cheats would react to the threats. They seemed legit. I hope the ones on the other end of the phone get the justice they deserve for hurting so many people. Jerks. With that happy thought, I'll play today's Wild Card ...
