My winter wood has arrived and it's half stacked. Per usual, Chris arrived with 2 cords of top-notch, split red fir late yesterday afternoon. We caught up on things as we tossed the wood into a big pile to be stacked later. Chris & his wood represent my first step in preparing for winter.

73YO CdA woman killed in rollover
A one-vehicle crash Thursday evening on U.S. 95 killed a 73-year-old Coeur d'Alene woman. Mary Ann Scoggins was traveling north after 9 p.m. and was roughly 15 miles south of Coeur d'Alene when she drove off the right shoulder of the road, according to Idaho State Police. CdA Press reports.
