TGIF Wild Card — 9.30.16

My winter wood has arrived and it's half stacked. Per usual, Chris arrived with 2 cords of top-notch, split red fir late yesterday afternoon. We caught up on things as we tossed the wood into a big pile to be stacked later. Chris & his wood represent my first step in preparing for winter. After he left, I called Brad to blow out my sprinklers. Step 2. I'll wait a little longer to get the car winterized. It's part of the rhythm of this season. What do you do to get ready for winter. You can answer that question or start your own thread by playing this Wild Card ...
