I thought I was onto a little scoop when I spotted the filing in the Secretary of State’s office recently showing former state Sen. John Goedde, R-Coeur d’Alene, apparently running for the Senate in District 2 – which is Sen. Steve Vick’s district. But that wasn’t what was actually happening. Goedde, who served seven terms in the Senate and chaired the Senate Education Committee before losing to current Sen. Mary Souza in the 2014 GOP primary, isn’t making a comeback/Betsy Russell, Eye on Boise. More here.
