Hollingsworth defends GOP CC

In a letter to the Coeur d'Alene Press, Jim Hollingsworth comments:

One has to sympathize with Christa Hazel. She makes some good points, but she lacks perspective.

Several years ago I ran for office but got little help from the Central Committee. When the more liberal were the majority on the Central Committee they were not even sure they were going to let me run.

After they were outnumbered by more conservative committeemen, many of them quit coming to the meetings. We felt this strange as we did not hesitate to help them when we strongly disagreed with them.

There is tremendous freedom on the Central Committee. Members may bring resolutions on just about any subject. While they may not seriously apply to our own situation, they are important to the one bringing them. More here.
