Renfro to appear in court today
Prosecutors in the county’s most high profile murder case will try to persuade a First District Court judge today to allow their experts to conduct psychological tests on Jonathan D. Renfro without his counsel present.
Kootenai County Prosecutor Barry McHugh asked District Judge Lansing L. Haynes to let the state’s experts interview and conduct psychological testing of Renfro, who is accused in the 2015 killing of Coeur d’Alene Police Sgt. Greg Moore. He faces the death penalty if he’s found guilty of first-degree murder/Ralph Bartholdt, Coeur d'Alene Press. More here.
