Sorry that I'm back so late. I got a late start for lunch. And then enjoyed an hour-long walk along the waterfront with Mayor Steve Widmyer. The mayor has plans he can't break tomorrow evening. So he won't be at Farewell-fest. I appreciate that he took the time to walk with me and chat about old times and current times. Running into former mayor Sandi Bloem, former councilwoman Dixie Reid, and Donna Runge on the corner of Sherman and 5th Street was a bonus.
