Police are searching for the man they believe killed a woman who was found dead Wednesday afternoon in a car parked at Kootenai Health.

The victim, Kelly A. Pease, was a 37-year-old Coeur d’Alene resident. She died from a gunshot wound to her head, Coeur d’Alene police said in a news release.

Police have issued an arrest warrant charging Steven T. Denson with first-degree murder. He recently had been in a relationship with Pease, police said.

Denson, 61, is a Post Falls resident. He is 6-foot tall, weighs about 225 pounds and has gray hair and hazel eyes. Police warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

He was last seen driving a 2000 white Nissan Pathfinder with Washington license plate AVA9015, police said/SR. More here.
