Logano Powers His Way Past Busch For NASCAR Nationwide Series Victory

Joey Logano wanted to take the off week from his regular NASCAR Sprint Cup Series role and have "fun" in the Nashville, Tenn. Nationwide Series event held Saturday. With a strong showing in the Game Stop Toyota out of Joe Gibbs Racing stable the chatter that young Joey isn't ready for Cup racing may subside a bit after the strong run to the famed Gibson guitar trophy.

Joey Logano won the Nashville 300, his second victory in 24 NASCAR Nationwide Series races.

This is his first victory and third top-10 finish in 2009.

This is his first victory and first top-10 finish in two races at Nashville Superspeedway.

Kyle Busch (second) posted his second top-10 finish in seven races at Nashville Superspeedway.  It is his fifth top-10 finish in 2009.
Brad Keselowski (third) posted his third top-10 finish in five races at Nashville Superspeedway.

Scott Lagasse Jr. (10th) was the highest finishing rookie.

Carl Edwards leads the point standings by 23 points over Kyle Busch.

Joey Logano's victory was the 25th NASCAR Nationwide Series victory for Toyota, and the eighth first-time winner at Nashville Superspeedway in 15 races.
