POST FALLS, IDAHO – May 20, 2009 – Statelines pits began filling early as drivers who got a bit of rain last week enjoyed the sunshine unloading cars  for Wednesday Night Fever. Over 40 Road Runners prepared for the night’s action along with a field of 18 Fever Four cars and 9 Bump to Pass contenders.

Joel Schrader once again wheeled his trash can themed Bump to Pass car to  another win at a well attended Wednesday Night Fever at Stateline Speedway.  Schrader and car owner Vern Dorsey of Spokane remain undefeated in the division.

Schrader held the lead to take the win in the main event. Aaron Stein finished second followed by Henery Blankenbaker and third place went to Len Clother.

The Fever Four race saw hard charging by all 18 drivers throughout the night, the fastest to the slowest cars were separated by mere fractions of a  second, the race drew several caution flags due to 9 spinouts and the squeeze  plays running three abreast during the 30-lap main event. Returning once  again to the class was Mel Auckerman, who repurchased his old championship car  to get back in the hunt. In the end the race crowned Brycen Tarr with the  win, followed by Chris Kellogg and Treven Tarr.
.

Brian Sawatzki, (Sapphire Division) Treven Tarr (Emerald Division), and Scott Rupert (Ruby Division) picked up feature wins in the Road Runner Class.  The Divisions were once again relined to maximize the competition using qualifying times as benchmarks.

Saturday the late INSCA Winged Sprint Car Racing Series take to the track along with Late Model 4s and Street Stocks. Events start a start at 6pm.  General admission is $10 for adults; kids under six are free.

The wild, wacky, unpredictable action of Wednesday Night Fever continues every Wednesday at 6pm with the cars and superstars of the Road Runners, Fever  4's, plus the wild and crazy Bump to Pass division. Adults are just $5.75; kids under the age of nine accompanied by adults are free.
