North Idaho Family Physicians, Kootenai Health form partnership
North Idaho Family Physicians and Kootenai Health have entered into a partnership to provide urgent care services to Kootenai County residents.

Under the agreement, Kootenai
Urgent Care wll combine operations with North Idaho Immediate Care Centers.
North Idaho Family Physicians will manage operations at the new combined venture, according to a press release.
“Seeking ways to increase efficiency while continuing to provide excellent care is not a new focus at either organization,” said Joe Morris, CEO of Kootenai Health. “This partnership will help support the community’s need for primary care providers and lead to increased access to care, more efficient operations and more integrated care for our patients.”
In recent years Kootenai Health has actively formed partnerships with North Idaho healthcare providers to form joint ventures based on delivery of advanced diagnostic imaging, radiation therapy, laboratory services and outpatient surgery.
