Eye On Olympia

Republicans, Democrats, and Craigs…

Bone, Boydston, Brown, Diamond, Gookin, Haines, Hughes, Judd, Moore and Warrick.

Nope, not a law firm. Those are the 10 people who have declared themselves in Washington as write-in candidates for president.

About half are Washingtonians. Lawson Mitchell Bone hails from Tennesee; Father J. Boydston from Longmont, Colo.

Most are independents. Oregon's Walt Brown is from the Socialist Party, and Massachusetts' Keith Russell Judd is listed as a "Non-Party Candidate."

Then there's Bellingham's Craig Moore, a member (and, we're guessing, chairman of) "the Craig Party."

Vote early and often.

Short takes and breaking news from the Washington Legislature and the state capital.
