Eye On Olympia

Alright, enough with the “Johnson” jokes…

With two Johnsons (Charles and Jim) on the state supreme court already and two more (Mike and Stephen) running for justice this fall, we thought this might be a good time to scout future candidates for an all-Johnson high court.

A quick check with the state bar association's online directory turns up a bumper crop of future Justice Johnsons. (It also turns up a surprisingly large number of "suspended"s and "disbarred"s, but hey, it's a common name.)

Based on names only -- which is all the ballot tells you -- here are some potential contenders:

Sure-fire winners:
Judy Johnson Wise, Kent.
Bruce Edward Humble Johnson, Seattle.
Clint Johnson, Lakewood.

Maybes:
Jeffrey Royal Johnson, Seattle.
Hillary Earnest Johnson, Seattle. (Suspended, according to the database.)
Linus Johnson, Oak Harbor. (Resigned, according to the database.)
