Cell phone towers can blend into the landscape

OUTDOOR LANDSCAPES -- It's nice to get the view of our local outdoor views from an out-of-area perspective.

Montana outdoor photographer Jaimie Johnson traveled to Lake Coeur d'Alene to photograph bald eagles recently. As he drove into the area on Interstate 90, he was impressed with a view locals often see and perhaps take for granted. It seems like a small way to help keep the wild in our developed landscapes:

"Not really a fan of cell towers – I recently saw this out in Idaho – neat idea (artificial branches).

"It still seems to stand out in the image, but actually blends much better on the landscape."
