Benefit: Spokane Riverkeeper tips Dirty Martinis for Clean Water
RIVERS -- A fundraiser for an important Spokane River watchdog is set for Friday, Sept. 18, and even if you don't like martinis, the olives are GREAT.
Dirty Martinis for Clean Water is an annual enjoyable evening to benefit the Spokane Riverkeeper, which is based with the Center for Justice.
The event will start at 6 p.m. at Riverside Place, 1110 W. Riverside Ave.
Tickets cost $45 in advance and $50 at the door.

The Riverkeeper fundraiser is the day before the big Spokane River Cleanup.
What the Riverkeeper does
- Trash clean-up along the Spokane River
- Work to keep our river clean as a member of the Spokane River Regional Toxics Task Force
- Regulation of non-point source pollution & shoreline protection
- Fishery protection
- Education
- Collaborate with local businesses, foundations and other organizations
