Group forms to fight further commercialization of Canada's national parks
A new coalition of First Nations, conservation groups, residents of Banff and former Parks Canada employees gathered in Banff last week to launch the Fight for Your Parks campaign. The movement is inspired in part by the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society report warning that the country's national parks were under siege from development plans.
