Silver Mountain to open tubing park, gondola for Thanksgiving break

WINTERSPORTS -- Snow is accumulating in the region, prompting Silver Mountain Resort at Kellogg, Idaho, to announce that it will open for snow tubing and scenic gondola rides on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Gondola hours will be 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Snow tubing sessions will last two hour starting at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sessions could fill fast so make your reservations.  

Gondola rides are $18 adult and $14 youth. Snow tubing sessions are $22 Adults, $20 youth, and $3 three and under.

Continued snow is in the forecast and conditions are being evaluated daily for a possible opening day for skiing and snowboarding, resort staff said.
