PARKS -- Mount Spokane Park Road, which has been closed to the general public this summer during construction, will be re-opened to  motorized vehicle and non-motorized vehicle use starting on Monday, Oct. 3.

Initially the road will be reopened with flagging in one direction, park officials say. Expect 20-30 minute delays.

The road will be open without restrictions no later than Oct. 21.

I have not been able to get official work on whether the road to the summit will be opened.
