FISHING -- A two-hour class, Fly Fishing for Steelhead, by fishing guide Sean Visintainer is set for 6 p.m. on Sept. 28 at Silver Bow Fly Shop in Spokane Valley.

Cost is $20.

"Despite low steelhead counts so far, we have had some reports of people hooking fish," Visintainer said. "He acknowledged that this year's returns of A-run fish are very weak to the Snake and tributaries such as the Grande Ronde.

"But my philosophy is: 'You don't go, you can't catch 'em,'" he said.
