Club offers bird dog basic obedience class for all breeds

HUNTING – The Spokane Bird Dog Association is holding a six-session "Basic Hunting Dog Obedience " class that starts next Sunday.

The class is geared t all types of hunting dogs including older dogs as well as puppies, said Doug Koenig, club spokesman. It’s also for handlers of all abilities, from novice to expert.

The class will be held Sunday afternoons, 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m., Feb. 19-April 2, at a facility near Medical Lake. Cost: $75 for non-members.
