WINTERSPORTS -- More than 22 classes of snowmobiles built before 1985 will roar around an oval track during the Vintage Snowmobile Races at Priest Lake airstrip near Nordman on Sunday, Feb. 19.

Events are set for kids as young as 4 and ranging to women’s and open classes.

Some events are open only to snowmobiles built before 1974.

The upcoming races are the second of two vintage sled events this winter at Priest Lake.

“The race we held on Jan. 15 had 134 entries from four states and there were 500 vehicles in the spectator parking lot,” said Mike Courteau, race organizer in Coolin.
