Ladies Night programs at Silver Bow Fly Shop

FLY FISHING – A casual and instructional evening to acquaint women interested in fly fishing is set for 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, at Silver Bow Fly Shop, 13210 E. Indiana Ave. in Spokane Valley.

Organized by Spokane Women on the Fly, the free Ladies Night event will include short presentations on:

  • Where to fly fish around the Spokane area by Heather Hodson, Spokane Women on the Fly founder,
  • Winter fishing technique by shop owner and guide Sean Visintainer,
  • SIMMS women's trunk show by Eric Neufeld, SIMMS rep.

Fly fishing classes -- Level 1 ($50) and Level 2 ($30) for women-only -- are being taught by Hodson on Saturday, Jan. 28. Preregister.
