WINTERSPORTS -- Here's an update on the great snowmobiling conditions and services I reported 3 weeks ago at Priest Lake, Idaho:

Little has changed.  Conditions are great. If anything, conditions are better.

"We have close to 5 more feet of new snow in the mountains since you were up," said Ryan Porter of Priest Lake Powersports. "Our technician rode on Saturday, said it was the deepest snow in the last five years he's been in!"

More than 400 miles of trails are groomed for snowmobiling around the North Idaho gem.
